Pitti Uomo 2022 : The Fashion News That Impressed Us The Most

The summer edition of the event dedicated to menswear is back in great shape with 4 days of events and presentations to discover the trends and projects of the upcoming Spring-Summer 2023. Here we point out what fascinated us the most ...

Pitti Uomo 2022: Like every year, or rather like every June, the fixed appointment that manages to attract the whole world of fashion is only one and always has the same address: Fortezza da Basso, Florence. Here, for 102 editions, Pitti Uomo has been staged, a show dedicated to contemporary men's fashion that has always attracted many visitors, buyers and journalists with its news and special contents. This year, after having passed two difficult lockdowns and pandemics, the great return in attendance, at 100%.

Precisely for this reason, the June 2022 edition can be considered as that of the rebirth: many international guests arrived, we started to attend fashion shows, participate in presentations and have fun at the collateral events have (re) given life to this event which, from always, tells us a preview of the ways and fashions of the future.

Guest stars like Ann Demeulemeester, who at the Stazione Leopolda, was the protagonist of an exhibition that traces the modern style that distinguishes her, up to the fashion shows of the designers Wales Bonner and Soulland, have brought an air of international contemporaneity to Florence.

This year's theme is Pitti Island, an imaginary island where you can meet and exchange ideas and suggestions, but also support. Like the one given by the Pitti Discovery Foundation to eleven Ukrainian designers thanks to the special project Ukranian Fashion Now!
